It’s Time - What Does This Mean To You?

What in your life would you say “it’s time” I take care of that?

Maybe it’s something that’s grown too large, gone too deep, or simply run its course. Maybe it’s time to go in a different direction. What is it for you, maybe it’s more than one thing.

God always has a plan and purpose. He waits. He shows mercy. And then, when it’s time, He steps in. When someone has lived out His purpose, He brings them home.

When someone has gone too far, He disciplines or judges. God is the Timekeeper. He orchestrates, controls, and determines the moments of our lives.

He did this with one of the most powerful kingdoms on earth, Babylon. God used Babylon’s strength to discipline and judge His people. But then one day, He said:

“Run away from Babylon and save your lives! Don’t stay and be killed because of Babylon’s sins. It is time for the Lord to punish Babylon; he will give Babylon the punishment she deserves.” (Jeremiah 51:6 NCV)

It amazes me how God even uses evil for His good. They thought they were in control, but control is life’s biggest illusion.

The truth is, there’s always something in our lives that can grow, change, and honor God. There’s always someone to love, forgive, and help. There’s always something good and godly we could do today. There are bad habits that need breaking, new rhythms to embrace, and areas of life that invite sanctification - that lifelong process of God shaping us to be more like Jesus.

The Bible reminds us, “There is a time for everything, and everything on earth has its special season.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NCV)

God’s timing is never off, even when we don’t understand it.

And when the time was right for salvation, He stepped in again: “But when the right time came, God sent his Son, who was born of a woman and lived under the law.” (Galatians 4:4 NCV)

That’s the ultimate “it’s time.” Jesus came at the perfect time to redeem us, to save us from our sin, to heal what’s broken, and to make us whole again.

Life can be exciting when we face those challenges instead of running from them. It’s in those moments that purpose becomes clear, goals are achieved, people are loved, and God is honored.

So what time is it in your life? Is it a time to grow, to change, to step into something new, or to enjoy more of God’s blessings? It’s only at this time when life becomes truly full.

It’s yours for the taking — today. Maybe…it’s just time.

JESUS, thank you for making us new. GOD, thank you for forgiving our sins through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. HOLY SPIRIT, help us, it’s my time. IJNIP amen. ♥️
