Are You Believable - What’s The Difference Between You And Them?
If someone knew nothing about my faith, my church attendance, or how much Bible knowledge I have, but simply watched how I treated people, handled money, responded to correction, and behaved when nobody was looking—would they see evidence that I belong to God?
It's not what we claim to believe that demonstrates our faith. It's how we actually live. How are you living and how is it different than a non-believer?
HERE’S SOME TRUTH
The Apostle James said:
“My brothers and sisters, if people say they have faith, but do nothing, their faith is worth nothing. Can faith like that save them?
In the same way, faith by itself—that does nothing—is dead. Someone might say, “You have faith, but I have deeds.” Show me your faith without doing anything, and I will show you my faith by what I do.
You believe there is one God. Good! But the demons believe that, too, and they tremble with fear. So you see that people are made right with God by what they do, not by faith only.” (James 2:14, 17-19, 24 NCV)
MAYBE IT’S TIME TO CHANGE AND GROW
So how different are you and I if we claim to love God, follow Christ, listen to the Holy Spirit, and love others as much as we love ourself?
How different are you and I than those who don’t believe? If someone followed you around, would they know you belong to God?
LORD, help me possess what I profess. IJNIP amen ♥️
