You Lived It - Now Tell It

Have you ever thought about writing your story? No one has a story like you. Because there is only one you.

Consider writing your story. Not the polished, filtered version. The real one. The full story, your mistakes, your memories, your second chances, and all the lessons you’ve learned.

Be sure to include the heartbreaks, the turning points, the questions you’ve wrestled with, and the things you’ve come to believe.

The truth is, no one else has lived your life. No one else has your exact path. And someone out there may need to hear exactly what you’ve been through and the lessons you’ve picked up along the way.

You might think your story isn’t worth sharing. But if you’ve faced failure and got back up, if you’ve learned something the hard way, if you’ve changed, forgiven, healed, or grown, then your story has value.

If you’ve found peace, direction, or hope when you were stuck or lost, that matters. Even if you’re still in the middle of it, that’s important too. Tell it. Someone else might be in that same dark place right now.

The Bible says, “Tell the Lord’s greatness; tell the nations what he has done” (1 Chronicles 16:8 NCV).

You don’t have to be a pastor or a writer or have it all figured out. You just have to be real.

God’s not looking for perfect people with perfect stories. He works with honest people willing to share what He’s done in their lives.

If you’ve come to a place where you’ve accepted that Jesus lived, died, and paid the price for your sins, that’s part of your story too.

It may not have been a dramatic moment. Maybe it was a slow realization over time. Maybe it came after hitting bottom. Or maybe it happened quietly when no one else was around. But that decision, accepting Him as your Lord and Savior, is a story worth telling.

If you haven’t accepted Him yet, that’s also part of your story.

Be honest about that. Write about what you’ve thought. What’s held you back. What questions you’ve had. What you’ve wrestled with when it comes to faith, forgiveness, and God. That kind of honesty might help someone else feel less alone in their own questions.

Your story isn’t about impressing people. It’s about connecting. It’s about being human.

And if you’ve found something real in your life, something that gave you hope when you were empty, don’t keep that to yourself.

“We should not be ashamed to tell people about our Lord” (2 Timothy 1:8 NCV).

“Let those who respect the Lord tell others what he has done” (Psalm 107:2 NCV).

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13 NCV).

So write it. Speak it. Pass it on. Someone may read your words and find their next step because you had the courage to tell the truth.

I believe your kids, your friends, and your family will thank you for writing your story.

And the person who may benefit the most is you. Actually, I know it will benefit you the most because I’ve written mine and still writing it.

GOD - inspire someone to share. HOLY SPIRIT, please keep inspiring me to tell my story. JESUS, thank you for saving my soul and giving me eternity. IJNIP amen ♥️
