What are your options for _______ (fill in the blank)? Life has a lot of options.
When you get diagnosed with cancer, like me, two crowds emerge; the medical specialists and the homeopathics. They don’t seem to like each other.
Some trust the medical field. Not all doctors are bad ones.
Many homeopathics tell of a medical conspiracy out there, with the industry just trying to make money on the sick and that chemo kills.
Many of these naturalists also say the food industry doesn’t care about our health and their food kills. They seem to always be criticizing the food industry.
So what are your options in life? Well, you can be sad, angry or sing. You can be positive or negative - the choice is yours.
The Apostle Paul and Silas were thrown in jail for doing God’s work and “About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing songs to God as the other prisoners listened. (Acts 16:25 NCV) By the way, the outcome was miraculous.
Paul and Silas chose joy. The point is, we have options and we can choose what is best for ourselves. Then “kindly and positively” suggest your optional preferences to others.
For example, just because McDonald’s opens their doors, you don’t have to walk through them - or criticize them.
In fact, certain doors in life should never be accessed or even discussed. The doors to addictions, infidelity, porn, certain foods, drinks and drugs and the list of off limit doors go on and on.
There are doors and options that should have a sign posted “KEEP OUT”. Just put a lock on the door and never enter. It should never be an option.
If you want to share your opinions, my suggestion is to inspire people as you respect their choices. Be kind, tell what worked for you and what you know is working for others and be positive.
Negative talk brings people down and may cause them to lose hope when sometimes their hope is already threatened.
Paul and Silas chose to pray and sing. That’s a winning option every time. God loves you so much, he gave his son to save you. Pray to him while in need and consider letting that be your option. See the good and thank Him.
LORD, help us pray with people, inspire them and provide positive solutions vs negative remarks. IJNIP amen ♥️
