Stop Waiting For Perfect

Why does God do things the way He does? I’ve asked that more times than I can count, especially when life goes in a direction I don’t like.
Why do people die too soon? Why is there so much evil? Why doesn’t God just step in? These questions have been asked since the beginning of time, even by prophets.
King Solomon wrestled with this too. He wrote, “I saw the hard work God has given people to do. God has given them a desire to know the future. He does everything just right and on time, but people can never completely understand what he is doing” (Ecclesiastes 3:10 NCV).
He went on to say, “The best thing for them is to be happy and enjoy themselves as long as they live. God wants all people to eat and drink and be happy in their work, which are gifts from God. I know that everything God does will continue forever. People cannot add anything to what God has done, and they cannot take anything away from it. God does it this way to make people respect him” (Ecclesiastes 3:11-14 NCV).
In other words, quit trying to figure everything out. Just live.
Enjoy the days God gives you, because He is in control and we are not. Life will still be painful and confusing, but God is weaving something far bigger than we can see. You and I just have to believe it - trust it - and live like it.
The Bible says, “My thoughts are not like your thoughts. Your ways are not like my ways” (Isaiah 55:8 NCV). And Paul reminds us, “We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him” (Romans 8:28 NCV).
That doesn’t mean everything is good, but that God works through it all for our good and His glory.
So what does that mean for us?
It means living with trust, not fear. It means choosing joy in simple things like food, friendship, family, and laughter. It means slowing down, noticing blessings, and thanking Him for today. Trust me, the good really is there.
Stop waiting for everything to be perfect before you choose to be happy—it never will be.
But there will be good days if you step out in faith and enjoy what He has given. Can you see it? Can you hear it? Can you smell it? There is a lot that is good.
God orchestrates every detail, and one day we will see the full picture.
Until then, the real question is not, “Why does God do things the way He does?” but, “Will I trust Him even when I don’t understand?”
GOD, please give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and enough faith to move forward. IJNIP amen ♥️
